What’s New!

Landmark Academy has a tremendous amount of exciting changes for the upcoming school year, such as:

  • Relaxed dress code
  • New music and athletic departments
  • New performing arts
  • Updated and remodeled facilities
  • Community recycling program
  • Stronger community and parent involvement
  • More focus on work-based learning, dual credit programs, and career and character development
  • Mathematics labs
  • Smaller class sizes for personal individualization

    • With these new programs and curriculum additions, we look to encourage creativity and personalization along with teaching community responsibility and support. In addition to a remarkable returning staff, Landmark Academy has recruited Shawn Sanders as the new Campus Director, and Tina Sanders as the new Student Support Services Coordinator, who are seeking to establish higher expectations, stronger student support, and a disciplined environment necessary for student success. The staff at Landmark Academy is fully dedicated to student achievement both in the classroom and within the community, which will actuate our school forward to yet another year of overwhelming academic success.

      As our placement in the community grows, the staff at Landmark would like to keep you informed of the major changes which are currently taking place, thus the implementation of this website. As you will see throughout the year, Landmark Academy is centered on communication.       New Drum Corps!
      Starting this year, Landmark Academy is going to have music! This will include music introduction, and the creation of the Landmark Academy Drum Corps!

      We Are Going Green!
      New this year, we will begin a community recycling program which will include aluminum, paper, and electronics.
